GET TO KNOW WHO I AM
Kyomi Cabral is an alumni of Florida International University, Honors College who graduated with a dual B.A. degree in International Relations and Global Education Policy Studies with a minor in Economics. In addition to her studies, Kyomi was heavily involved in multiple extracurricular activities and leadership roles. These include Chief of Staff to the Student Body President, Student Ambassadors, Undersecretary General of General Assemblies for FIMUN 34, Model United Nations, and the Global Learning Program. These initiatives have allowed her to pursue two prestigious internships in Washington D.C. with USAID on their
Anti-Corruption Task Force and their Niger Foreign Office.
Kyomi also worked with FIU's very own Government and Community Affairs team where she helped plan various campus visits by high ranking government officials. Kyomi plans to enter the professional workforce to promote international development and communications. She will also pursue a master's degree in International development in the near future. She aspires to work in the field of international development and youth empowerment. She looks forward to opportunities that engage relevant stakeholders with innovative solutions needed to expand access to quality education while promoting and communicating pertinent information to the public.
